Just as with human hotel reservations we have check in and check out times.  It is important to us that our existing guests receive our quality care and daily house-keeping service just as we would expect of our own hotel bookings. Unexpected late departures and early arrivals can impact our daily service. It is also critical that we minimise the overlap of clients on site and will where possible pre-book an arrival and departure time with you during the following hours;

Check-In: between 2pm and 3pm

Check-Out: between 10am and 11am

Should the unexpected happen and you require an early check-in or a late check-out, please call ahead, and if we can accommodate your request an additional charge will apply.

Tips for preparing your pet for a stay with us

  • The preparation begins at home before the journey to our centre, particularly for cats it is important to maintain a low stress environment, we recommend you bring your pet carrier out several days before your journey, place familiar bedding with you pets own scent in the carrier, when the day arrives and your cat is crated, place a towel over the carrier, always carry your pet in the carrier with a loose cover and once in the vehicle keep the cover in place and do not put on the radio.

  • On arrival at our boarding facility depending on the weather, leave your pet in the vehicle until checked in. Never leave an animal in a hot vehicle

  • We will aim to agree times for drop off and collection to ensure pets are only admitted or sent home by appointment, aiming to only have a single client on the premises at any one time where possible.

  • Our team will wash our hands for 20 seconds using soap and water or use hand sanitiser before going to collect or receive your pet.

  • We will determine a way to receive/hand over your pet in a way which maintains a two metre distance and if possible hand over the pet in an outside secure area. Face masks should be worn by both parties at all points of transfer. If outdoor handovers are not possible we ask that you sanitise your hands on entry to our reception area and wear your mask throughout the handover. Handover will take place in an outdoor space large enough for the client and staff to maintain their social distance.

  • The owner should retain all equipment such as leads. We actively discourage any personal belongings arriving with the animal but rest assured your pet will receive quality care and comfort during their stay.

  • We understand that the unexpected happens therefore any items that do arrive with the animal will be bagged and placed in isolation for 3 days on arrival.

  • Any material such as collars, toys and food bowls arriving with an animal will be thoroughly washed with soap and water and left to dry in the open air.
