Awarded highest five star rating
We provide the highest standards of care and have been awarded the highest attainable five-star rating for our accommodation and care following an inspection by the Isle of Wight Council and Trading Standards in accordance with animal welfare regulations. In addition our premises are inspected and licensed annually by the national RSPCA animal welfare division ensuring that as a charitable partner we maintain and exceed standards of care for animal housing. Our staff are hugely knowledgeable about dogs and cats and individual and breed specific needs, both caring and professional they will make sure your pet has a wonderful experience with us, full of fun and cuddles.
Feeding
We provide a full board service which includes all food sourced to ensure a nutritionally balanced diet, but if your pet is on a special diet or is a fussy eater, they may prefer food from home. Our staff will work with you to understand your companion’s needs and arrange a personalised feeding plan. Please note: we are unable to provide a raw food diet to any animal in care as we are unable to store or handle raw food due to the increased risks relating to the health and safety for both your pet and our team. If you pet is usually fed a raw food diet, we ask that you consider a transition to an appropriate food before their reservation, to reduce the impact of dietary changes during their stay.
Welfare
Our facilities and staff meet the highest standards in animal welfare and have been awarded five stars by the local authority. Our staff have specialist knowledge of cats and dogs with a clear understanding of your animal’s needs and welfare – including their mental and physical health, feeding and environmental enrichment.
In the unlikely event that your pet experiences a medical episode during their stay then you’ll also have the peace of mind that we have a dedicated team of vets on hand 24 hours a day just a short drive from our centre plus on-site staff accommodation.
Insurance
If you have insurance plan coverage for your companion, please provide the details at the time of booking and we can maintain these details on their records.
